I miss you most in early spring
When blooms the golden daffodil
and grows the darling jonquil
when dancing notes the bluebirds sing
beside your stony epitaph
I miss you most when er I sing
and think upon the jonquil
and smell the fragrant daffodil
I think of you in spring time breeze
and gaze upon your epitaph
I think of you at home in spring
at home, at rest, at peace at last
singing as the jonquil
shining as the daffodil
so far beyond your epitaph
