Life Before Facebook

Before facebook....

I surfed the web.

The Google search bar was a source of endless possibilities.

Writing on walls was not allowed

 poking was physical

There was email

P.M. was the opposite of A.M.

There were chat rooms

Long lost friends often, and easily, stayed lost

"Home" was where you lived

Your "Status" didn't say anything. It simply was.

The news was on T.V.

Sharing was just good manners

Like was a verb, not a button.

Being "notified" usually happened through the mail, and it usually wasn't good.

Candy was literally crushed

Invites were for parties

Before Facebook. "Face" and "Book" were sold seperately.
